Terms of Service

Last updated: February 22, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Quasar, including its mobile and desktop applications, widgets, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

The Service is licensed to you, not sold, under the Apple Standard End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA").

The Apple EULA constitutes the primary agreement governing your use of the Service. These Terms supplement the Apple EULA and apply only to the extent they do not conflict with it. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA shall prevail.

By accessing or using Quasar, you agree to be bound by both the Apple EULA and these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

  • Price and chart tracking.
  • Public-wallet observation features.
  • Market sentiment/statistics features.
  • Optional premium subscription features.

Unless explicitly stated in writing, Quasar is an informational software product only and does not custody assets, execute transactions, provide brokerage/exchange services, or operate user wallets.

3. No Financial, Investment, Legal, or Tax Advice

Content in Quasar is for general information only and is not investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and should consult qualified advisors where appropriate.

4. Crypto Risk Disclosure

You acknowledge and accept that:

  • Crypto-assets are highly volatile and may lose value rapidly.
  • Third-party/public data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
  • Past performance and historical data do not predict future results.
  • Blockchain/network events, forks, outages, or exploits can materially affect displayed data.

You use the Service at your own risk.

5. Regulatory Position (EU/MiCA Context)

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Quasar does not offer regulated crypto-asset services requiring authorization under applicable law (including Regulation (EU) 2023/1114, "MiCA"). If regulated services are introduced, we will publish updated legal terms and required disclosures.

6. Accounts and Access

Some features may rely on technical identifiers (including anonymous authentication flows) to operate the Service.

You are responsible for:

  • Securing your devices and credentials.
  • Keeping your app and operating system updated.
  • All activity occurring through your device/account context.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

If you purchase a premium subscription through Apple:

  • Billing is handled by Apple, not Quasar.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal cutoff in your Apple account settings.
  • Price, billing period, taxes, and renewal terms are shown in the purchase flow.
  • Refund requests are handled per Apple policies and applicable law.

Free-tier users may see advertising.

8. Advertising

Quasar may display ads to non-subscribers. Ad delivery can depend on device/platform settings and third-party ad systems. We do not guarantee ad availability, frequency, or relevance.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate laws or third-party rights.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Interfere with Service security, integrity, or availability.
  • Use bots/scrapers to overload systems.
  • Use the Service for unlawful financial activity, fraud, money laundering, or sanctions evasion.

10. Third-Party Services and Data Sources

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure, APIs, ad networks, app stores, and public blockchain/market data sources. These third parties are independent from Quasar and may change, degrade, or stop service at any time.

Quasar is not responsible for third-party products, services, or content.

11. Intellectual Property

Quasar and all related content, trademarks, software, and materials (excluding third-party content) are owned and protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use.

12. Feedback

If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it to improve the Service, without compensation to you.

13. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features or data sources.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, applicable law, or created security/compliance risk.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, or accuracy/completeness of market or blockchain data.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quasar and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or death/personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited.

16. Indemnity

If you use the Service in breach of these Terms or law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless from related claims, losses, and costs, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Consumer Rights (EU)

If you are an EU consumer, mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply and prevail over conflicting terms.

Where legally applicable to digital content/service purchases, you may have statutory withdrawal rights unless you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge loss of withdrawal rights after performance begins.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

If you are an EU consumer, you may bring claims in the courts of your country of residence. We may also use courts required by mandatory law.

19. Changes to These Terms
